Electronic Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS)

To go with the lightness of touch in design, EPAS is an impressive advancement that offers easier, lighter steering when you’re parking in a tight spot. It also gives you firmer steering for more control at higher speeds, when you’re powering down the A roads, for instance. Unlike conventional power-assisted steering that operates continuously and consumes energy and fuel, Ford EPAS only operates when it is required, enhancing fuel economy and making the car lighter on your pocket, too.

TÜV allergy and British certification
If you, or a member of your family suffer from allergies, you’ll be relieved to know that all the materials inside the new Fiesta have the ‘seal of approval’ from the British Allergy Foundation, and have also been fully tested to meet the stringent anti-allergy requirements necessary for approval by the TÜV, a German quality standard.

Intelligent Protection System (IPS)
IPS is a clever series of measures that work together to deliver incredible levels of occupant safety. The rigid passenger safety cell has energy-absorbing crumple zones, both front and rear, to reduce the effects of impact. Ford have added airbags to minimise injury, in addition to fitting advanced seat and seat belt technology designed to keep driver and passengers safely in their seats.
